PayPal is the most used payment method worldwide. The downside of it is that, as much as anyone from any country in the world can open and own a PayPal account, only a few selected countries are eligible to send and receive funds. The rest of the countries, like Zambia and Nigeria for instance, have limited functions, they can only send money or purchase online, but cannot receive money.
This has affected online entrepreneurs in Zambia for a long time and I have always viewed it to be unfair that they only want us to spend money without making any sort of profit. Because of that, I carried out research on how to receive money through PayPal in Zambia and other countries that are limited to sending money on PayPal. Most people prefer US PayPal accounts, but personally, I would advise you to go for Botswana or Lesotho PayPal accounts. US PayPal accounts are awesome with enjoyable functions, but any slight mistake might cause you to lose your funds and you may not be able to retrieve it ever again due to lack of documents required.
Lesotho PayPal in Zambia has only one limitation, you cannot send and receive as Friends and Family (FnF). The feature is not available for Lesotho PayPal users; however, your citizenship is with Zambia and not with Lesotho.
